How a software video starts

Send us your product screens and tell us who buys. We agree the message in words first. Then you approve each stage: script, moodboard, storyboard and animation.

“Great to work with. Fast, responsive and really care about producing high quality videos.”

Lena Hesselgrave, AskNicely, Google review

Which video for which job

Ten software firms, and what each one needed.

Show a new feature

AskNicely needed a launch video for NiceAI, its new AI helper. The demo had to bring in demo requests and get current users to try it. AskNicely’s homepage now leads with it.

A demo for each product

Central Innovation makes several tools of its own. We made one demo per tool, in one look for the two MaXX tools and another for #Task. Each tool’s value had to be clear in ten seconds.

Launch a new version

For Nexus, its new version, ProWorkflow wanted the new features easy to grasp on its site and on YouTube. With the explainer came five short versions, to bring people back to the site.

A film for a conference screen

AMLHUB was a sponsor at a compliance conference and needed a film to show there. It runs 23 seconds and ends on its Australian web address.

Supahuman also wanted a demo to show at conferences. Its VETos promo would set the look for the posts that came next.

Real crews, real screens

Comply Pro’s app is used on work sites, so we filmed one. Its product demo puts the app’s screens over the footage, and it was made for the website, YouTube, LinkedIn, emails and events.

Ads from the main film

From PurchasePlus’s explainer we cut five paid ads. Each takes one pain, such as time, spend, approvals or audits. Each ends on its own button.

Help for new users

Crossware sells to IT teams. We made its YouTube Shorts, each naming one headache and showing it gone. We also made twelve how-to videos for new users. Ten of the 13 videos on Crossware’s YouTube are ours (checked 3 October 2026).

Stay in front of a slow buyer

CS-VUE sells compliance software to people who carry the risk when it fails, and they take time to decide. Our short films each carry one idea, to keep CS-VUE in front of them while they choose.

Posts every month

Aspect PT sells factory scheduling software. We make its LinkedIn videos each month, post them and run its ads. The pictures are AI, directed by us.

Questions about SaaS video production

What videos do you make for SaaS companies?

MoveUp Studio makes explainers, demos, launch films and ads for software firms. We make Shorts, how-tos and monthly posts too.

What is the difference between an explainer and a product demo?

An explainer sells the idea. It opens on the buyer’s problem, then shows the fix. A demo shows the product at work, screen by screen. MoveUp Studio built AskNicely’s demo on one question typed into NiceAI.

Do you show our real product screens?

Yes. MoveUp Studio draws your real screens so people can read them. AskNicely sent us its notes and screens, and we built its film from them.

Can you make a video for our software launch?

Yes. MoveUp Studio makes launch films for software firms. Two are on this page, under Show a new feature and Launch a new version.

Do you make onboarding and how-to videos?

Yes. Onboarding and how-to videos are part of the software work MoveUp Studio takes on. Crossware’s are under Help for new users.

What happens when our software changes?

MoveUp Studio keeps the project files. So when a screen changes, the film can be changed to match.

Do you work with SaaS companies in Australia?

Yes. MoveUp Studio made Supahuman’s VETos promo. It is for training firms in Australia. Our Australia page has more of our work there.

How much does SaaS video production cost?

MoveUp Studio puts its prices on the pricing page, product by product. A film is priced per film, and a month of posts per month.

What would yours look like?

Tell us what your software does, who buys it and what is coming next.

A written scope before you pay anything. The price you approve is the price you pay. If we underestimated the work, we absorb it.

The call is 30 minutes with Greg, our co-founder. You’ll know which product fits and roughly what it costs.
